At the XXI UISPP World Congress in Poznań (Poland), the commission Neolithic Civilizations of the Mediterranean and Europe is organizing General Session 9 'Neolithic', bringing together a wide and varied range of contributions on current research on early farming communities aroung the globe, exploring subsistence, material culture, settlement, and social organization. The commission also co-organizes Thematic Session 16B 'Holocene populations, networks and adaptations to new environments '.
