Membership

Individual membership

All bona fide scholars working in the fields of prehistoric and protohistoric archaeology may join the UISPP. Payment of the membership fee is a prerequisite for membership, for joining a Scientific Commission, for participating in congresses organised by the UISPP and its Scientific Commissions, for accessing services offered by the UISPP and the various organs of the organisation. Membership is automatically terminated in the event of non-payment of the membership fee.

Membership fees for the upcoming three-year cycle (2027-29) are collected together with the conference fees for the XXI UISPP World Congress (31 August - 4 September 2026, in Poznań, Poland). Instructions for payment can be found on the congress website.

Members unable to attend the XXI UISPP World Congress in Poznań will be able to pay their membership fees for 2027-29 via this page after the congress. If you still need to pay membership fees for the present 2024-26 cycle, please contact our membership team via the contact form. The payment of membership fees for the 2024-26 cycle does not satisfy the membership requirement for attending the XXI UISPP World Congress.
