At the XXI UISPP World Congress in Poznan (Poland), the Archaeological Methods and Theory: Formalization, Quantification, Mathematics and Computerization commission is organizing General Session 1 'Archaeological Theory and Methods', as well as Thematic Session 2D 'Historiography of Archaeozoology in Europe'. Both sessions explore questions of the development of methods and theoretical approaches in different fields of prehistoric and protohistoric archaeology.
