From 26th to 28th June 2024 we convened at Copenhagen University for a conference on the "Final Palaeolithic and early Mesolithic of Northern Eurasia. New research and recent discoveries", organised on behalf of our commission by Mikkel Sørensen and Kristoffer Buck Pedersen. The event featured 28 participants and 17 presentations that sparked lively discussions. On Thursday afternoon we had the opportunity for a collective examination of lithic materials from various Late Palaeolithic and Early Mesolithic sites in Denmark as well as from experimental flint knapping sessions. On the last day, we went on an excursion outside the city to see the sites of Bromme, Stoksbjerg Bro, and Holmegaard Mose. A conference report is planned to be published in Archaeologia Baltica.
